With such a positive response to our inaugural ‘Site Spotlight’ featuring Deepdale Camping I hope our spotlight shines this week on an equally popular site tip. We head in the opposite direction shining our site spotlight on Cardigan Bay for a memorable GlamperRV adventure.
They say a picture speaks a thousand words and this one really does – a customer found this idyllic farm setting last summer and returned raving. The 120 acre working sheep farm, Penrhyn Farm is sat on the Ceredigion Coastal Path which stretches from Cardigan in the south up north of Aberystwyth. It is said to be the most varied landscape and terrain of the Welsh coast with a wealth of wildlife, geological and archaeological features.
Penrhyn Farm is within walking distance of the picturesque seaside town of New Quay where you will find a wide variety of places to eat, boat trips to go out dolphin watching or simply enjoy the beach and explore the varied natural wildlife along the coastal path.
This is one to book early as with only 5 pitches, all with sea views (of course!) availability will be limited this summer such is the huge demand.
If this type of small, farm campsite appeals then take a look at the Greener Camping Club – they offer a wonderful range of idyllic farm settings to explore but more of that in another spotlight.
Whilst we are still waiting to hear when we can start travelling domestically again, one thing is for sure – demand will be incredibly high so our advice if you wish to travel over the summer is to get booked in early.
We so look forward to welcoming you all.
