Site Spotlight Eastnor Castle

I really hope that our new weekly #sitespotlight is giving you as much inspiration in reading as they are enjoyment for me in scribing.  Looking through my notes on site recommendations and the images that customers have kindly sent in is doing wonders to lift the spirits and think forward to the time when we can again enjoy all these fabulous parts of our country.

We frequently get requests from customers looking for locations for a long weekend break or an overnight spot on their way to Wales and this weeks spotlight shines on a truly unique site in the grounds of Eastnor Castle which is a perfect location situated in 5,000 acres of rolling, wooded Herefordshire countryside.

The Deer Park at Eastnor Castle is a basic campsite with none of the usual frills such as hard standing, electric hook up or showers.  It is however a wonderful wide open park, dotted with water supplies and waste facilities, where you can set up and go explore the extensive grounds and even enjoy complimentary fishing in the Deer Park Lake.

Fun for children is high on the agenda at Eastnor with an adventure playground, knight’s maze, junior obstacle course and woodland play area.  For the larger children there is a LandRover Driving Experience and for everyone else the castle itself along with its spectacular arboretum and lake provides an extensive area for walks with breath-taking views and landscapes.

This is a real back to nature site that I know will appeal to many of you for your next GlamperRV adventure.
