Go explore with GlamperRV and GoCycle

For those who follow us on social media (@GlamperRV, if you haven’t yet) you will have spotted that last weekend we took delivery of our first GoCycle G4 electric bikes.  These top of the range, foldable e-bikes are the perfect companion on your GlamperRV adventure.  They pack neatly into the garage space where they can be charged using the plug socket.  With a range up to 40 miles and a 3.5 hour charge time, they will make those hilly coastal cycle rides so much more enjoyable.

We are really excited to be partnering with GoCycle, a fantastic British success story and will soon be announcing further details of our new partnership.

With cycling in mind I wanted to highlight a few favourite campsites for this weeks site spotlight where a GoCycle will prove your best friend when out exploring (ie. there are hills in the vicinity😊).

Chatsworth, Derbyshire
Chatsworth Park Campsite is literally on the doorstep of Chatsworth House and presents the most fabulous location to base yourself for a few days whilst exploring this stunning area.  We visited in February this year and yet again were blown away by the beauty of the surrounding countryside.  Whilst many of our customers enjoy hiking, a GoCycle will add another dimension, providing access to some of the pretty villages slightly further afield as well as the picturesque Monsal Trail, a traffic free route through the Peak District’s most spectacular limestone dales.

Salcombe, Devon
Whilst Devon is not the most motorhome friendly, with its very narrow roads, there are a few campsites located just off A roads which can provide a great base for a Devon coastal adventure.  A popular site with GlamperRV customers is the working farm of Ilton Farm Camping. Perched on the hill top above Salcombe your GoCycle e-bikes will make nipping into town for a bite to eat a piece of cake.

Padstow, Cornwall
Another firm favourite with GlamperRV customers is Padstow Touring Park located just above the foodie haven of Padstow.  Dinner at Rick Stein’s or across the narrow roads to The Pig at Harlyn Bay will be a breeze on your GoCycle.  Whilst you won’t be using much of your battery on the relatively flat Camel trail, it is a fantastic off road cycle path to explore the area.
