Trip of the Month – Cycling round the lakes, Cotswold Water Park

Great outing in GlamperRV. Booked a pitch at the Crown Inn, Cerney Wick (Cotswold water park – a stunning wildlife sanctuary between Swindon and Cirencester). We found ourselves alone in a field, set up the outdoor table and settled down to lunch. I will certainly be looking for similar sites for future visits and quickly signed up as members to motorhomestopover.co.uk so all our guests can enjoy the benefits of such great non-traditional locations.

Following a test of the football pitch, bikes were unloaded from the garage and off we went for a 2 hour cycle around the lakes with barely another person in sight. We even stumbled on a fabulous hide from which we could view the wildlife. We finished the day with a welcoming pint and homemade burgers at the Crown Inn before pulling down the blinds as the sun set.

The next day the children woke early but were happy in their bedroom at one end of the GlamperRV whilst we caught up on our sleep. The heavy rain forecast became a reality and so we spent a leisurely morning drinking cappuccinos and playing games whilst we watched the rain pour down outside.

Our first family GlamperRV test and it received a thumbs up all round.
