Night 1: Embrace the Majesty of Snowdon

Your journey begins at the foot of Snowdon, Wales’ highest peak. Llyn Gwynant Camping, a nature lover’s paradise is your base camp for the night. After a scenic 4.5-hour drive from our Buckinghamshire base, arrive in time for a late lunch and soak in the beauty of Llyn Gwynant Lake and the surrounding mountains. Get ready for your morning hike up Snowdon directly from the campsite.

Night 2: Zip, Zoom, and Refuel

For a rustic overnight stay near Zip World, we recommend Bethesda Rugby Club. Book your spot with Wayne and unwind with a post-adventure drink at the club house bar.

Get ready for tomorrow’s adrenaline rush at Zip World. Located in the heart of Penrhyn Quarry, once the world’s largest slate mine, here you can challenge yourself on Velocity, the fastest zip line in the world, soaring 500 meters above a vibrant blue lake.

Night 3: Mountains Meet the Sea

Mountains and coastline – a perfect combination! This leg takes you to the stunning beaches of the Llŷn Peninsula. Porthdinllaen Campsite in Morfa Nefyn is your home for the night. With easy access to the coastal path and a beautiful beach, it’s an ideal spot for relaxation. There’s also a fabulous links golf course next door if you fancy a quick round.

Night 4: A Step Back in Time at Portmeirion

Your final overnight stop is the whimsical village of Portmeirion. Designed by Welsh architect Sir Clough Williams-Ellis, Portmeirion is a masterpiece showcasing harmonious development amidst natural beauty. Explore the colorful Italianate architecture and charming streets after the day trippers have departed.
