There is simply no better way to visit the Le Mans 24h race than with the luxury of a self-drive motorhome and if you want stand out from the crowd with the most stylish and comfortable of them all then GlamperRV is for you.
With little local high quality accommodation available and the high volumes of traffic going in and out of the race track, to stay on site at one of the local campsites is a sure way not to miss out on any of the action whilst having all your home comforts to hand.
GlamperRV comes equipped with what you would expect and much more – memory foam mattresses, black out blinds and White Company linen for a comfortable sleep any time of the day; full shower room complete with hair dryer (although I must admit most of our Le Mans customers have little need for this luxury!); fully stocked kitchen with fridge/freezer, oven and hob and just to be really fancy a Nespresso machine and a lovely large living area both inside and out to savour the sounds as you relax with some local brew.
Having driven to Le Mans many times over the last decade my preference is to travel via Eurotunnel and then enjoy the almost empty Autoroute down through the historic City of Rouen, complete with obligatory cathedral stop and on to Le Mans. Of course, you can put GlamperRV onto a Brittany Ferry to St Malo or Caen and save yourself a couple of hours drive but with GlamperRV travelling is such a pleasure. With the automatic gearbox, cruise control and a weight under 3500kg you can travel down the Autoroute at 130kph paying tolls as if you were a car. You will also never need to use the dubious toilet stops! Tempted?
