Site Spotlight Bwlchgwyn Farm.
I hope you are all enjoying the glorious sunshine and longer light evenings this week and like me, it is making you dream of escapes!Ā Those lucky enough to live in Wales are already allowed out for overnight stays and I bet they are enjoying their stunning countryside, free of touristsš
I therefore felt it apt this week to shine our spotlight on another small gem of a campsite on the Welsh coast, Bwlchgwyn Farm.
On the coast in North Wales where the Snowdonia mountain range dips into the sea you will find this glorious working sheep and cattle farm.
Sitting alongside its selection of traditional self catering is a small private campsite in an elevated position with the most breathtaking views over the Mawddach Estuary to Barmouth harbour, Snowdonia mountain range and the Llyn Peninsula.Ā Just imagine sitting back and enjoying a BBQ with family and friends watching the sun setting over the bay. All pitches have sea views.
Bwlchgwyn Farm is situated on the Welsh Coastal Path a short walk from Fairbourne village, known for its beautiful two mile golden sandy beach.
A slightly longer walk or an easy bike ride, along a cycle path, will bring you to Barmouth, a pretty seaside town well worth a visit with its steep steps and slate-roofed cottages. The harbour is beautiful and is approached across the spectacular Barmouth Bridge which spans the river.
Bwlchgwyn farm is also home to a pony trekking centre offering rides along beautiful Mawddach Estuary, Fairbourne’s sandy beach and up to the foot hills of the panoramic Cregennan Lakes and Cader Idris mountain Range.
This really does tick many boxes for a GlamperRV location and I hope that some of you get to enjoy our site spotlight Bwlchgwyn FarmĀ this summer.
